Biography

Ray Frazier was a starting fullback and linebacker for the Red Rocketeers during the 1955 and 1956 seasons. As co-captain of the 1956 team, he established himself as one of the area's most effective two-way players.Ray came into his own as a junior with an outstanding game againstMansfield, scoring a touchdown and the tying extra point. In the Thanksgiving game, he was instrumental in helping the winless North eleven upset a favored Attleboro team 6-0. During his senior year Ray was a brusing runner and an excellent blocker. He finished his career for the Rocketeers with his usual strong performance against Attleboro, contributing to North's 276 total yards and anchoring a defense that held Attleboro scoreless for the fifth consecutive year.
