AI St. Pierre, one of Attleboro's finest all-around athletes, was an outstanding two-way end for the Bombardiers in the early 1950s. A natural athlete, the smooth and versatile St. Pierre was selected to the coaches' All-Bristol County and All-State teams, primarily for his great pass-catching skills. AI was equally effective on defense and as a kicker. A typical St. Pierre effort occurred in Attleboro's exciting, fourth quarter comeback victory over North in 1951 . The Blue and White rallied behind a series of brilliant St. Pierre receptions, including a 37-yard catch to set up one touchdown, and a six-yard grab for the game-winning score.
