Frank Pinocci was an all-around athletic star during one of the golden periods of Attleboro High School sports. A three-year starter in football, basketball, and baseball, Frank played quarterback and end for the Blue and White football team, winning all-star recognition at the Bristol County level. Powerfully built and equipped with great hands, he was an exceptionally versatile ballplayer, handling punting, kickoffs, and point-after chores for the Attleboro eleven. After high school, Frank enjoyed an extended career in professional baseball, playing for seven years in the Braves system on teams ranging from Kington, Canada, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the basketball court, he led the Bombardiers into the Tech Tourney and was a perennial county scoring leader.
