Biography

Ray Sullivan was the Doug Flutie of the 1970's. At 5'6", 150 pounds, Coach Paul O'Boy designed a roll-out offense featuring his gutsy quarterback Sullivan. No game stands out more vividly in Sullivan's accomplishments than Feehan's 22-20 over a previously undefeated Dartmouth team in the ftfth game of the season. Trailing 20-0 at halftime, Sullivan rallied his team with three second haJf touchdown passes to fellow Hall of Famers, Glynn, Rollins and Shockro to engineer a spectacular come-from-behind 22-20 win, and earn the accolades of the legendary Dartmouth coach Carlin Lynch who called Sullivan "the best player on the field."

Sullivan was equally adept with a baseball glove where he captained his Feehan squad as a senior.

The consummate gentleman, athlete and scholar, brother of long time North Attleboro Coach Paul Sullivan now resides in Shelton, Connecticut where he works as a architect and resides with his wife Maryanne, and three sons, Conor (9), Sean (7) and Dylan (5).
