Biography

For 29 years, Dr. Coren has dedicated himself to the care of Attleboro High School athletes, treating the youngsters as he would his own. Dr. Coren settled in Attleboro in 1946 with his wife. Alice, an Attleboro High graduate, and began a distinguished medical practice that has enriched the lives of people in the community, including its young athletes. Working without the assistance of today's cadre of specialists, Dr. Coren has dealt with every ailment from sprains to broken bones. treating star players and subs with equal dignity and concern. Committed as he was to his youngsters, Dr. Coren traveled to all of Attleboro's away games, not willing to commit " his boys" to the care of anyone else. Hundreds of Attleboro athletes remain grateful for his skill and compassion.
