The expression "natural athlete" was never better suited than when applied to Feehan's Tim Shockro. Run, pass, catch or kick-Sbockro did it all. As a starter on his 6-2-l in his senior year, Shockro was in an all star backfield with fellow Hall of Famers, Tom Glynn, Peter Rollins, and another of this evening's inductee, quarterback Ray Sullivan. Known for his tremendous leg strength and accuracy, Shoclcro was Feehan's first "big-time" kicker. Never missing an extra point in two years, his two field goals of 34 and 35 yards in a 22-7 victory over Coyle as a senior stand to this day as a Feehan record for most field goals in a game.
As a slot back, the "40 special" so named for his jersey number, featured a Sullivan to Glynn handoff, lateral to Shoclcro and a pass to speedy Rollins. It was done no better than the 60 yard TO bomb that Shockro threw against Attleboro. Shock:ro carried his athleticism onto the basketball floor where he co-captained the team in his senior year. Son of the legendary Red Sbockro (AHS '39), Tim still resides in the Attleboro area.
